Abstract

This community service activity was carried out to increase the productivity of chilli plants by utilising the potential of local resources as a model of pest and plant disease (HPT) control technology that is environmentally friendly, inexpensive, and easy to implement. The socialisation was carried out in Block 1 Pekik Nyaring Village, Pondok Kelapa Subdistrict, Central Bengkulu Regency, in early December 2020, with the main focus on chilli plant virus control technology. The results of the activity showed a positive response from the “Melati Mekar Bersama” farmer group, which was shown through enthusiasm and active participation during the program. The program ran smoothly, providing motivation and knowledge to farmers in optimising local resources to support the sustainability of chilli cultivation and increase household income.
