Socialization and Implementation of Climate Village Program Activities (Proklim) in Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City

Abstract

Climate change has become an important issue for multisectors in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. Therefore, the Indonesian government has implemented a strategy to address climate change through the implementation of the Climate Village Program (ProKlim). One of the areas chosen as a climate village is several sub-districts in Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City. This study aims to determine the activities of the climate village program at the sub-district level in Kemiling District. This study was conducted in April - October 2024. The results of this study indicate that each sub-district in Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City has implemented climate change adaptation and mitigation activities. Such as the use of yard land, drainage systems, water use and clean living patterns. So it can be concluded that the activities of the climate village program in Kemiling District, most of the people already understand and participate in supporting the activities of the climate village program.
