This community service activity aims to provide early knowledge related to environmental recognition through educational tourism activities of Orchid plants to students of SDN 92 Kendari at the UHO Botanical Garden. This activity begins with an explanation of the importance of protecting the environment, introducing the types of Orchids in the UHO Botanical Garden Collection as unique and endangered plants and seeing the morphology of flowering orchids. The results of this activity are that students are enthusiastic and excited about the beauty of diverse orchids. The real benefit of this activity is that it can trigger the sensitivity of cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects in gaining direct experience that can strengthen their understanding of the importance of maintaining biodiversity, especially orchids.
